At Michigan Women’s Health your safety has been our number one priority even before the pandemic. For decades we’ve focused on safety and integrity while providing you with exceptional service. We’re not just your providers, for most of you, we’ve been with you through every stage of life.

As Coronavirus numbers continue to rise in Michigan we want you to know our commitment to keeping you safe hasn’t changed. Our staff has remained committed to following best practices as the CDC and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advise.

We have continued to follow additional cleaning protocols, social distancing precautions and personal protective equipment practices, none of that will change. We still welcome you into our offices and recommend that you keep your appointment for wellness visits. Breast, ovarian and cervical cancer diagnosis have all seen delays this year due to postponed exams. A delayed diagnosis can have a life altering impact. Please don’t delay your exams.

Our staff has increased our physical distancing protocols. We’ve spaced out our appointments, minimized our waiting room capacities and have additional entrances and exits if needed.

Each and every day we see immunocompromised patients. In an attempt to keep everyone safe we may ask you to fill out paperwork online and print it before you come. We may also ask you to fill out paperwork or wait in an adjacent area by our office or in your vehicle. If you require certain accommodations or if you are showing symptoms like coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, fever or chills, please let’s us know before you come to our office. We may need to reschedule your appointment. We will also continue to screen every patient before they enter the building.

We know that new routines can be difficult and we appreciate your support to keep our community strong. We’re committed to keeping our patients healthy and safe through every stage of life, including this one.

Sincerely,
Michigan Women’s Health
